| Implementation Consultant - IDTConsulting | Job Description The Implementation Consultant works as part of a team to demonstrate, design, implement, and support Dynamics GP applications. This position provides business solutions to small and mid-market companies by communicating effectively with senior level customers and end users.
As an Implementation Consultant, you will be responsible for implementation and/or project management of Dynamics GP engagements, ensuring quality delivery practices, generating new consulting opportunities with existing clients and working with the sales team on new client opportunities. You will also interact with all levels of the IDT Consulting technical and sales teams to support, troubleshoot and advise in areas of product implementations and upgrades.
| Responsibilities
- Work with Project Management to gather system requirements prior to implementation of a new Dynamics system or work that needs to be performed on an existing system

Install and configure Microsoft Dynamics GP software in accordance with the customers’ needs. This includes all necessary Dynamics modules and/or third party modules that may be required to augment the Dynamics system

Work with Project Management to coordinate resources, develop and maintain project budget and timeline, and communicate progress

Document client system topology and communicate changes needed to comply with software requirements

Provide client training based on a pre-established curriculum

Work with Sales team to set up and perform system demonstrations during the sales cycle

Work with Sales team in gathering system requirements during the sales cycle in order to accurately quote the software and services necessary to meet the customer’s requirements
| Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Information Technology

Extensive Microsoft Dynamics GP consulting experience required

Related experience with FRx, MS SQL, and/or Crystal Reports preferred

Experience with Dynamics CRM, SharePoint (as it relates to GP 10), VBA, or IIS is a plus

Knowledge of Dynamics GP Human Resources and Payroll is a plus

Knowledge of Dynamics GP Financial, Distribution, Project Management and/or Manufacturing suites with certification in one or more preferred

Experience working with common third party products and the Dynamics GP ISV community a plus

Accounting experience (CPA a plus) preferred

Knowledge of Dynamics GP Fixed Asset Management module a plus

Effective communication skills with customers across all levels of an organization

Strong organizational capabilities, problem solving abilities and time management skills
