However, they needed to do it in a phased approach with very aggressive timelines and a limited staff. Faced with a number of challenges including an existing aged, out-of-support ERP system, SEC compliance mandates, complex financial reporting, multi-currency, inter-company and intra-company requirements, rigid security and organizational structures, this organization turned to IDT Consulting for help.

Since the data for the financial system was coming in from all over the world by a large number of suppliers, company-owned stores, independently-owned franchisee’s, etc. – automation was an absolute must.

  • Content-enable Dynamics GP without having to modify any of the underlying Dynamics GP code base, providing assurances to the customer that future Dynamics GP upgrades wouldn’t be a problem.
  • Recommend and implement Dynamics GP including modules such as: General Ledger, multi-currency, multi-company, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and much more.
  • Recommend taking on a phased, implementation approach - allowing this client to transition from their proprietary system over the course of a 12 month time period.
  • Incorporate powerful integration tools in order to accommodate the voluminous data/transactions, varying data sources formats and automated daily data imports in an unattended mode.
